Thankfulkly, Everton clear the free kick. Mike Jones bowing to the pressure of the players and crowd by giving that last free kick.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Fellaini wins the ball cleanly and Mike Jones gives a free kick. Another change, Valencia off, Hernandez on.

Decent possession for Jelavic as he shuffles on goal and fires wide from 25 yards. De Gea was off his line too.

Fellaini has been immense today as the Everton fans rejoice in their equaliser. There has to be a winner in this the way it has gone.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> David Moyes goes absolutely nuts on the touchline and well he might - Everton have been brilliant today. Phil Jones comes on for Scholes.

Incredible! Pienaar pokes home from a superb ball from Fellaini. That is a superb goal.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL</b> Pienaar!

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Cahill comes on for the injured Distin. Neville goes to left back.

Nice link between McFadden and Fellaini. Ferdinand blocks the former's shot.

Scholes dalliles on the ball inside the area, leading to a shooting chance for Jelavic but from a tight angle he hits the side-netting.

Decent stuff from Pienaar as he trundles into the box but can't find a blue shirt in the box.

Very poor from McFadden as he hits an aimless ball into the area. Fergie shares a joke with the fourth official - he clearly thinks the game is over.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/images/2012/0422/waynerooneyscoresvefc_275x155.jpg"><br>Wayne Rooney scores Man United's equaliser

Crikey, what a second half this has been! Some top drawer goals, excellent entertainment and now United with breathing space again.

Another quality goal as Welbeck crosses for Rooney to finish off in style. Lovely combination between the two.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL</b> Rooney again!

That is a beaut! Hibbert crosses into the area and Fellaini volleys into the corner. De Gea got a touch but he couldn't keep it out.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL</b> Fellaini - what a finish!

Valencia fires over from outside the box.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Osman trots off and is replaced by McFadden.

Everton will point to that second goal as the turning point and you can see why they are angry. It appears like one rule for one side and another for them. However, the ref was right to let the play go on I think.

United are rampant here as Rooney feeds Welbeck and his shot from an angle is blocked by Heitinga.

And that should be that. A lovely triangle between Carrick and Welbeck sends Nani in on Howard and he dinks the ball delicately into the far corner.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL</b> Nani with a lovely goal!

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/yellow_card.jpg" height="15"> Neville's frustration gets the better of him as he chops down Welbeck. He was angry because Mike Jones stopped play in the first half when Evans was down injured but not for Pienaar.

Everton are furious because Pienaar was down injured during the whole passage of play. It wasn't a head injury though.

That is a beauty from Welbeck. Everton fail to get the ball clear, and the striker brings it down, moves to his right before slotting it into the top corner.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL</b> Welbeck with a stunner!

The combination of Fellaini and Jelavic is really proving a handful for Evans and Ferdinand.

A bright start to the half from Everton, as they win a corner and get two more decent balls into the box.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/yellow_card.jpg" height="15"> Evra gets a card for a nothing foul on Pienaar.

<b>HALF TIME</b> Well, far from the stroll many had predicted for Man Utd. Everton have been excellent in the first half, enterprising, disciplined, but they nearly went in behind as Welbeck nodded wide from the free kick.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/yellow_card.jpg" height="15"> Distin is carded for a tiny shove on Valencia. Ridiculous card from Mike Jones. Free kick wide right.

A nice moment on the touchline as Fergie shows his watch to the fourth official - David Moyes comes in to look as well and has a laugh. Fergie time.

Great work from Osman until the finish - he jinked inside Evra but his shot was more like a gentle pass back to De Gea. He had options up with him too.

A top quality cross from Nani for ther goal - much better than his shot on goal just now, weak and wide.

Fergie races down from his seat to have a pop at the referee. Not sure why. Game on here though - Everton's goal seems to have shaken Utd into life.

No real celebration but a fine finish from Rooney. Nani crosses and Rooney nods home from six yards out. Simple as that.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL</b> Rooney!

The replay shows that was a clear foul - Rafael was trying to shield the ball and Osman just barged into his right leg.

Now Osman blocks off Rafael but nothing given by Mike Jones. Looked a little dodgy that one.

Howard rushes out to clear the ball ahead of Nani.

Evans is down injured after Jagielka's foot landed right on his ankle. No foul given, surprisingly.

But Utd almost hit back immediately! Scholes fires in a shot from the edge of the box, it is deflected twice and Howard saves with his legs. Great work from the keeper.

That is Everton's first goal in four visits to Old Trafford and no more than they deserve.

What a good header that is! Hibbert's deep cross is nodded back across goal by Jelvaic, right into the far corner. Brilliant.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL</b> Jelavic!

Decent ball in from Neville and Distina sneaks in at the back post to win the header but he can't get it on target.

A clear sight of goal for Rafael as Scholes finds him but Heitinga is across and eventually a free kick is given against Rafael for handball.

More danger for Man Utd as Fellaini wins a header and Jelavic gets into the area. His cross is cut out by Evans.

Scholes makes room for the shot but smashes it three yards wide.

A strong tackle from Heitinga on Welbeck - he gets the ball but also a big chunk of the player. Looks like a painful one.

Good ball into the box from Evra and Rooney gets up, but Jagielka puts him off sufficiently to ensure the header is wide.

Nani fires in another effort - this one is on target but is right at Howard.

A first effort for Nani, as he cuts onto his right and curls a shot five yards wide of Howard's far post.

Whereas the stakes are far higher for Man Utd - that 20th title in their sights.

Of course, Everton have little riding on the rest of their season - apart from the battle to finish higher than Liverpool.

A very muted atmosphere in the stands, reflecting the stuttering start Man Utd have made.

Jelavic tries to fire a ball into Fellaini. Everton getting numbers forward when they do break - promising.

Early warning sings for Man Utd then - Everton more than capable on the break.

Now Osman is in acres of space and fires a shot across the face of goal.

First chance of the game for Jelavic as Everton break, but his finish is weak and De Gea can save easily.

Everton essentially sitting with nine men behind the ball with Jelavic up on his own.

A sedate start to the game, much like at the Emirates yesterday.
