- 78'
Kuyt is going off and Huntelaar is on.
- 77'
Superb work from James Milner! He robs Heitinga down the wing, heads into the box and waits just long enough to find Defoe who taps in. Great England goal. They are back on terms.
- 77'
GOAL! Defoe!
- 75'
Lampard looks indecisive again on the edge of the Dutch box. He should have smacked it or given it wide to Milner. He did neither and found a very offside Cole.
- 74'
That's more like the Carlton Cole we know and love. A slip under no pressure.
- 73'
Defoe loses possession sloppily (no really) then Terry is penalised for nipping at Kuyt's heels.
- 72'
Green shouts for it and claims the ball well.
- 70'
Babel wins a corner off Johnson at the other end.
- 68'
Brilliant work from Carlton Cole after he is fed by a looping Lampard ball. He goes one way then t'other before lashing a left foot shot agonisingly wide. Great effort.
- 67'
Milner's first involvement is a lovely cross onto the head of Defoe but his effort is two yards over the bar.
- 66'
Ashley Young is off, to be replaced by his Aston VIlla team-mate James Milner. The lad's debut as well. Ahhhh.
- 64'
Terry is the culprit this time, diving in on Kuyt and not getting either ball or man, luckily the striker's ball for Babel was terrible and England survive.
- 63'
Kuyt gives up possession during what could have been a very promising move but Lamaprd doesn't do much better with the ball - hoofing it into Stekelenberg's arms.
- 62'
Carlton Cole keeps at it and wins a corner off De Jong.
- 60'
Carrick takes up the sloppy mantle and Babel has a pop that goes just wide. What is wrong with them tonight?
- 58'
Lampard pushes Van der Vaart as he tried to collect SWP's pass. Rooney off, Carlton Cole on. This should be interesting...
- 56'
Great chance for Defoe again! SWP slipped him and he really should have hit it early, instead he turned Braafheid and hit it with his left. Ooijer clears off the line.
- 54'
England looked very short at the back all of a sudden as Terry's header fell free. In the end Lamaprd did well to nip in then Kuyt's shot rebounded off Ferdinand.
- 53'
Johnsonn does well to dispossess Sneijder inside the area.
- 51'
Terry looks down the flank for Young and Heitinga knocks it behind for a corner. Oh. Its a goal kick, for some reason.
- 50'
The finish was actually a little fortunate having witnessed the replay, but the touches that got him into the area were not. That bodes well for Spurs fans.
- 49'
Superb finish from Defoe, who has only been on the pitch three minutes. Lampard hits it over the top and Defoe takes it in his strike expertly before firing home left footed. Great start to the half.
- 49'
GOAL! Defoe!
- 47'
Ryan Babel and Wesley Sneijder are on for Van Persie and Van der Vaart. Rooney tries to slip a ball inside for SWP in the early stages but Braafheid cuts it out.
- 46'
Beckham, Heskey and Barry go off while Jermain Defoe, Michael Carrick and Shaun Wright-Phillips are on in their place. We begin again...
- 45'
Half time. Capello warms up his vocal chords so Ferdinand and Barry can get the verbal lashing they both deserve.
- 44'
Another Ferdinand error, failing to clear a loose ball, and Van der Vaart passes to Kuyt who blasts wide from 25 yards.
- 43'
Heskey's flicks finds Rooney who whacks it on the volley, but the ball flies narrowly wide. A good effort. Stekelenberg was beaten.
- 41'
Rooney picks up a sloppy pass from Van der Vaart and has a pop from 20 yards but Stekelenberg holds it well.
- 40'
Sorry, Van der Vaart was the scorer. Blame Clive Tyldsley, our commentator, not me.
- 38'
In spite of two barely believable mistakes England have actually been quite good. I smell a Capello rocket at half time.
- 37'
Oh dear. Pitiful from Barry, he passes right into Robben's stride and though Rob Green saved his initial shot Kuyt was following up. England two down to two of the worst goals you will ever see them concede.
- 37'
GOAL! Kuyt scores again from another horrible England mistake.
- 35'
Van Persie cuts inside and let's rip but the ball flies two yards wide.
- 34'
A superb sweeping ball from Barry complements Heskey's hold up play. Ashley Young gets the ball but his cross is poor.
- 33'
A poor clearance from Green puts England under pressure and Robben gets away to put a shot in. He went high and straight when he should have gone low and angled and Green tips over.
- 31'
A poor touch from Robben almost allows Johnson an opportunity but Braafheid tidies up.
- 30'
Van Persie's free kick sees Green edge nervously off his line. Once he realises he won't make it he retreats and eventually makes a very good save from Van der Vaart's downward header.
- 28'
Lampard piles in on former Chelsea team-mate Robben as he looked to burst through. Lucky to escape a booking there, even in a friendly.
- 27'
More great work from Beckham to string the passes around and create space for Barry to have a dig which flies just over under the watchful gaze of Stekelenberg.
- 26'
Young picks up the scraps from a Lampard free kick and darts outside De Jong before shooting. The ball strikes Mathijsen and the sting is removed.
- 25'
Barry marauds into the area and back heels towards Johnson. The ball hits Braafheid's arm but the referee waves away England's appeals for a pen.
- 24'
Cracking move from England as Rooney and Lampard combine to release Beckham. His cross is towards Rooney but Ooijer nods away. Good period for the visitors this...
- 22'
Beckham crosses after Heskey lays off. Mathijsen clears.
- 21'
Heskey steals the ball superbly but Rooney is outnumbered five to one as he moves towards goal.
- 20'
Beckham tracks back well after he surrendered possession. He nips the ball off Kuyt and hammers clear at the back post.
- 18'
Excellent move from England, a ball from Beckham and a lovely touch from Johnson finds Lampard in the area but he hits hit shot right at Stekelenberg.
- 17'
Neat touches between Young and Cole but the former's cross is right at the keeper.
- 16'
Beckham floats in a ball after Heskey is fouled but if floats harmlessly into Stekelenberg's arms.
- 15'
Beckham wins the ball and Rooney crosses for Heskey but he was too far out to get enough power or direction on the header.
- 13'
Barry curls in a lovely cross and Beckham just can't get on top of it at the back post. His header flies over.
- 11'
My word, that really was astonishingly poor. Even when Rio shanked his pass he just stood there. If he'd hurried back he may have got to Kuyt in time too.
- 10'
Ferdinand has just committed suicide. A horrendous back pass meant for Green went right to Kuyt, he cut inside a wrong-footed Green and fired past Terry on the line. Woeful. Shocking. Pathetic.
- 10'
GOAL! Kuyt scores. Calamity for England!
- 8'
Now England dither at the back and Green has to come out and punt clear after Ferdinand let Johnson's pass evade him..
- 7'
Rooney nearly pinches a short back pass from Ooijer but Stekelenberg just gets it clear. England coming into it a bit here....
- 5'
Cole gets past Heitinga and crosses but Ooijer is there. Poor delivery from the nation's favourite left back.
- 4'
Rooney looks for Heskey but he is penalised for a trip on Ooijer.
- 3'
Ashley Young wins a free kick off Robin van Persie but Beckham's free kick is cleared by Heitinga.
- 2'
Van Persie finds space and looks for Dirk Kuyt but the ball runs through to Rob Green in nets..
- 1'
A minute's applause for the late Sir Bobby Robson is rousing, and now completed. The game begins...
So, Beckham gets a rare outing for England, even though it is his 113th (you know what I mean) while Ashley Young makes his first start. Let's hope for a decent game. Kick off is moments away....
