David James replaces Paul Robinson in goal and Wes Brown comes on for an injured Ferdinand. Richards goes into central defence and Brown goes to right-back.
There will be big changes in the second-half and hopefully one of them will be Robinson.
Well a typical first-half from England. Played well for the first 20 minutes and then stopped doing the simple things well, to let the opposition take control.
- 45'
Owen really should have scored that. What a miss! The only thing worse than his finishing is the performance of the goalkeepers.
- 44'

Germany are back in the game after their best spell of the match and England are beginning to lose their shape.
- 28'
That was a huge blunder from Robinson, whose place is under threat from David James, and his indifferent form for England continues.
- 27'
...Kuranyi is quickest to react and pokes the ball in from about five-yards. GOAL!!!

- 18'
England look sharper and are closing down the midfield very quickly - playing at a Premiership tempo.
- 17'
Odonkor and Kuranyi attempt to combine in attack but end up tackling each other. That about sums pu the German performance so far.

- 1'

Join us at 20.00 BST for live coverage of England v Germany at Wembley.
Meanwhile, Germany have been hit by their own chronic injury problems and coach Joachim Low is without 11 regular squad members and he looks set to juggle his starting line-up.
England have been hit by injuries in attack, including Andy Johnson and Wayne Rooney, and therefore Steve McClaren is expected to turn to Newcastle United duo Alan Smith and Michael Owen - neither of whom have been playing regularly as a striker for one reason and another.
