Too tight from Oxlade-Chamberlain who does well to keep the ball in but then fails to when crossing.

Excellent give and go between Connell and Jones wins a Bradford free kick wide right but it is a tired one from Atkinson.

Connell is a striker by the way so no chance of Parkinson trying to completely shut up shop just yet.

We begin again. Can Bradford hold out?

It was pretty shoddy from Arsenal's point of view - their zonal system allowing Thompson to lurk at the back post. Szczesny could have done better too.

Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised - Garry Thompson scored his first Bradford goal in a League Cup tie back in August against Watford. Clearly likes the challenge of playing bigger sides.

The ball comes in, is flicked on by Atkinson and Thompson volleys home at the back stick! Incredible scenes at Valley Parade!

Super ball from Cazrola as Gervinho is released but though Wilshere was screaming for it he tries to go alone and ends up with a corner.

The pitch looks reasonably good, if a little frosty. Arsenal knocking it about alright at the moment, despite a dangerous ball being lumped into their box.

KICK OFF

Of course, there are two other games going on this evening - the other quarter final on tonight is between Norwich and Aston Villa at Carrow Road - tin-hat time for Paul Lambert I'd suggest. In the Premier League it is Sunderland vs Reading the proverbial six-pointer. I'll keep you up to date, naturally. When do I not?

Can the Bantams be inspired by their biggest crowd at Valley Parade for 52 years? And what will Santi Cazorla make of it all?! We're about to find out.

Arsene Wenger says this will be a "different kind of game for Arsenal," and as they don't play after this until Monday, he cites plenty of recovery time for his first-team stars.

Bradford: Duke, Darby, McHugh, McArdle, Meredith, Thompson, Doyle, Gary Jones, Atkinson, Hanson, Wells.

And here it is - Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Wilshere, Coquelin, Ramsey, Cazorla, Podolski, Gervinho.

So, Arsene Wenger is taking no chances in his quest to end Arsenal's trophy drought (oops) by naming a very strong team to face League Two Bradford.

Join us from 1945 GMT for live text commentary of Arsenal's Capital One Cup trip to Bradford City. We'll try not to mention the phrase 'trophy drought'.
