Arsenal fans ... Andre Santos is stripping to come on...

It's a fine corner from Bale which finds Defoe unmarked at the far post ... and he swings a fresh air shot at the ball.

Corner to Spurs!

Cazorla is fed in, and this is a great chance to put the game to bed ... his touch is unbelievably bad for one so gifted and the ball just runs through to Lloris.

Arsenal fans looking VERY nervous now. And they've gone very quiet. It can't happen, can it?

Opta stat: Gareth Bale has now scored four goals against Arsenal in the Premier League, his highest tally against any opponent.

Defoe was so furious about Bale shooting - he missed at the far post - that the striker kicked the post in frustration. It should have been 4-3.

Oooooh! Bale bursts through and shoots on a very tight angle. What an awful decision, as Defoe was screaming for the square ball and had a tap-in.

Tom Carroll has only made one Premier League appearance before - two weeks ago in the 1-0 home defeat against Wigan when he came on for the final 12 minutes.

And a final change for Spurs as Tom Carroll is on for Tom Huddlestone

Corner to Spurs. Bale takes from the right but can't find a team-mate.

Opta Stat: Emmanuel Adebayor has been sent off four times in English football, three times by Howard Webb.

The was the problem with AVB going two up top and taking the risks at half-time, if Arsenal got a goal it would leave the ten men exposed to a rampant home side.

Now Giroud fires over from the edge of the box.

It's almost five as Wilshere dances through into the box but is crowded out.

Arsenal waited for the chance to pick off Spurs, Podolski with the square ball across the face of goal to an unmarked Cazorla who couldn't miss.

Walcott takes, a defender heads to safety unchallenged.

The Spurs players complain to Howard Webb as they head for the tunnel but there's very little they can argue about. Adebayor's red was correct.

And that's half-time.

Great work from Cazorla as he produces the cross for Giroud to guide home.

Sagna penalised for a foul on Sandro - he's everywhere. This is over on the left flank and perhaps the only way Spurs might add to their tally with ten men.

Superb dipping shot by Cazorla from 25 yards out, but it just dips over the bar.

Walcott takes the corner, and again it is Lloris who has to deal with the danger.

Another foul by Wilshere, this time on Vermaelen.

Arsenal have so much space in midfield now to work the ball, Spurs sitting deeper.

So Spurs managed to survive just six minutes with 10 men before Arsenal found a leveller.

Great cross from Walcott on the right, standing it up for Mertesacker to rise highest and find the top corner with a header.

Spurs of course had Scott Parker sent off in this game last season.

That red card just came when Arsenal had upped their game too. Three-game ban coming for Adebayor - so he will be enjoying the Europa League we can presume.

Adebayor looked fired up. He got his goal, but that tackle always looked like a red. He caught Cazorla with his studs - the Spaniard will be fine to contine.

Minutes after scoring, Adebayor is shown a straight red for a studs up challenge on Cazorla. Awful tackle definite red.

GOAL

Foul by Vermaelen on Lennon. Real chance for Spurs to get a dangerous ball into the box.

Now Sandro is penalised for a foul on Giroud and this could be lofted into the box from near the centre circle.

A committed start from both sides too, Sandro sending out a message with a strong but fair tackle.

Both sets of fans in fine voice early in the game.

And it's Arsenal to kick-off!
