Bale's shooting is still off from range. Another one fizzes over.

The game very much dying out now.

A shot from Spearing goes wide to ironic cheers from Tottenham fans.

An excellent cross from Dos Santos but no-one gambling on it in the six-yard box.

I'd be telling them to get forward and try and boost their goal difference.

What sort of an appetite do Spurs have to try and pile on the goals in the last ten minutes? Do they want to just conserve energy?

Liverpool forced back to the keeper as Spurs press them, then Parker nicks the ball from Spearing.

Should have been another goal as Assou-Ekotto crossed and Bale and VDV both mis-hit it.

Bale goes up for a header as Reina meets a cross and Liverpool get a free kick.

Stat attack: The other two occasions in the PL era when Spurs have scored three goals v Liverpool have seen both games end 3-3. Unlikely.

Another sight of goal for Defoe but this shot from 20 yards is blocked.

That was a sublime touch from Adebayor. How Defoe has missed I do not know.

What a chance! It should be game over inside 35 seconds of the half. A brilliant burst from Walker, he finds Adebayor and his glorious pass finds Defoe ten yards out with only the keeper to beat but he fires wide. Incredible.

We begin again...
