Cole is hobbling a bit, he'll go to the sidelines for more treatment

Cole slides in on Yakubu and is penalised. It's about 25 yards out. Cole comes out the worst though and needs a bit of treatment

Everton make a change. Bilyaletdinov is replaced by Yakubu in an attacking change. Yakubu has scored in three of his last four games against the Hammers.

Superb break by West Ham. Stanislas brings it 40 yards and slips Cole in with a perfect pass. Cole shoots from inside the D... but mishits it and it rolls wide of the post. What a chance.

The atmosphere really is not existant. But then there's little to cheer about.

Mido fires a pass across the face of goal but Stanislas can't reach it

It's a scrappy start. So no different to the first 45.

Looks like he'll be okay after some treatment and is trying to run it off. The first time he's needed to kick the ball he winces

Baines is down in pain, he looks in a bad way. He might have twisted his knee here. His foot got stuck in the turf.

West Ham kick off in the second half

The Hammers simply have to improve after the break. They certainly need to be more attack-minded. See you in 15.

West Ham should be level, and Distin should be off, but Mido's poor penalty was saved.

Everton lead, and while they have enjoyed the lion's share of possession they have hardly turned that into chances.

And the half-time whistle goes

One minute to be added

Nice idea from Heitinga, floating a ball down the right for Neville to run on to - but there's too much on it and it goes out.

A classic this is not.

Everton have not lost at home since the first week of the season. West Ham have not won away in the same period. Surely it points to just one outcome?

Everton make just one change with Diniyar Bilyaletdinov coming in for Jack Rodwell.

Kieron Dyer, who failed to finish last week's defeat to Stoke, did not prove his fitness after a hamstring injury and is replaced by Radoslav Kovac, which is the only other change to Gianfranco Zola's side.

Junior Stanislas has come into the team at the last moment as Valon Behrami was injured in the warm-up and had to be withdrawn.

However, Everton have picked up more Premier League points against West Ham than any other team. And that of course means that the Hammers' record at Goodison Park is woeful.

With Hull playing at home to Burnley next Saturday, the Hammers know the pressure could really be on so a victory at Goodison Park could make all the difference.

It's a huge game today, more so for Gianfranco Zola than for David Moyes. Zola knows a win here will go a long way to securing Premier League survival
