Borussia Dortmund against Real Madrid

Four minutes to be added on.

Weidenfeller needs a bit of treatment after being caught by the follow-through from Ronaldo, he'll be fine.

Kaka plays in Ronaldo and he's through, there is only the time to poke a shot at goal and Weidenfeller does superbly to get out quickly and smoother the effort.

I wouldn't expect there to be much injury time, there have been no stoppages other than for the substitutes.

Even Ronaldo fails to get off a shot when found near the edge of the box, he hesitates before being crowded out.

Ozil cuts inside, ignores his team-mates, loses the ball and then hacks down Reus. Real's night in a nutshell.

What an awful ball by Di Maria, looking for the raking ball over the top and finding Weidenfeller.

Khedira fails to prevent a corner for Dortmund, the Bundesliga club have the ball where they want it.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> And another change for the home side, Kevin Großkreutz on for Lukasz Piszczek - could be an injury this one.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> And Blaszczykowski is replaced by Sebastian Kehl

Blaszczykowski is dragged back by Khedira and goes down holding his face, just a free-kick.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Kaka replaces Alonso.

Neat play for once, Ronaldo works the ball wide to Di Maria but his cross is blocked.

And right after I type that Lewandowski shoots from 20 yards with Lopez off his line, but the goalkeeper manages to push the shot over. Close to number five.

Dortmund sitting back more now.

Khedira suddenly finds space in the box but Weidenfeller is out in an instand to close down and prevent the ball across the six-yard box.

A second goal for Real could make all the difference, but they look like the flight back to Spain cannot come soon enough.

This is the 10th occasion a player has scored 4+ goals in a Champions League game; Lionel Messi is the only player to have done it twice.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Di Maria is finally on, in place of the disappointing Modric.

The free-kick comes to absolutely nothing.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/yellow_card.jpg" height="15"> Ramos holds his face after clasing with Lewandowski. And the four-goal hero is booked for his block on the Real defender.

What a truly amazing week this has been for the Bundesliga against La Liga.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/subs.gif"> Benzema is on for Higuain

Ronaldo thinks he's through on Weidenfeller but the flag is rightly up for offside.

Lewandowski thumps the penalty straight down the middle and scores his fourth, and Dortmund's fourth. Truly amazing.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL - ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI</b>

Lewandowski...

Alonso bundles into Reus inside the area and that was a penalty.

<strong>PENALTY TO DORTMUND</strong>

Modric with the delivery from the left, he picks out Ronaldo's run to the near post but the header is off target.

Ozil takes the resultig free-kick and it's flicked behind for a corner.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/yellow_card.jpg" height="15"> Ozil is fouled but gets booked for waving an imaginary card.

Free-kick for Real, floated into the right which Higuain gets to first. Weidenfeller holds but three Real players were flagged offside anyway.

So close to number four! Gotze dances round three challenges before arrowing a shot towards the top right corner only for Lopez to throw out a hand and tip it over.

Robert Lewandowski is also the first player to score a Champions League hat-trick against Real Madrid.

Robert Lewandowski has now overtaken Krzysztof Warzycha as Polish top-scorer in Champions League history.

Khedira's cross from the right is woeful, overhit and out for a throw.

What a stunning start to this second half. Real look shellshocked.

Modric's weak shot from 20 yards out is a simple take for Weidenfeller.

Now this makes the tie very interesting. A two-goal lead is surely the least Dortmund required with Real having an away goal.

What a finish from Lewandowski! Schmelzer's shot from the edge of the box was poor and Lewandowski was fortunate that the ball fell to him, but his then shifted it away from his marker and rifled a shot into the roof of the net.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL - ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI</b>

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/yellow_card.jpg" height="15"> Reus goes down in a heap following a challenge from Khedira

Poor effort from Blaszczykowski, firing well wide of the target on the angle.

Now we have a replay of the goal. Reus played a superb first-time pass into Lewandowski six yards out - he was not offside and span into the empty space wonderfully to fire past Lopez.

Dortmund have got the bit between their teeth again.

Lewandowski poked home from close range with everyone looking over to the linesman. We are yet to be shown a replay by German TV.

Real Madrid players are going crazy. They say it was offside!

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL - ROBERT LEWANDOWSI</b>

The corner comes in from the left, and Lopez claims unchallenged.

Khedira battles with Gotze and lets the ball run out for a goal-kick - corner given.

Foul given against Ramos for a high-ish challenge on Reus - no card though.

The away goal for Real has a huge impact on the tie, and gives Jose's team something to cling on to even if they lose.

You have to feel Dortmund have to win here to stand a real chance of going through to Wembley.

Off we go in the second half, Dortmund taking the centre.

The Dortmund players are out first, Real a bit later to make their hosts wait.

Out comes the players again.

<em>ESPN stats:</em> Cristiano Ronaldo has 21 goals in his last 18 Champions League games.

I'll be back for the second half, remember you can follow me on Twitter <a href="http://www.twitter.com/dalejohnsonESPN" target="_blank">@dalejohnsonESPN</a>

Dortmund fans whistle at the Dutch officials, livid at what they have just seen. It would have been a soft penalty for a foul on Reus, but Real don't really deserve to be level.

And there goes the half-time whistle, what an end to this half.

One minute to be added on.

Real push again, Ozil tries to pick out Ronaldo eight yards out an a defender just prevents the Portuguese from making clean contact with the shot.

Within a matter of moments this tie completely changes. Dortmund feels they should have had a penalty, it's not given and Real go up the other end and score a vital away goal.

Awful, awful attempted backpass by Hummels, Higuain races onto it, squares the ball to Ronaldo and he has the simple task of sidefooting into an empty goal.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL - CRISTIANO RONALDO</b>

No! The ref says no! That was a correct decision, very little contact between Reus and Varane.

Reus breaks into the area and goes down under a challenge from Varane. Penalty?!

Finally better play by Real, Ozil and Ronaldo linking up well and it's Alonso who has a shot from 25 yards - but his power drive is blocked.

Coentrão twists and turns just inside the area and gains a bit of space over Schmelzer, but his attempt to dig a cross out into the box ends up out of play behind the goal.

Gotze loses Ramos on the throw-in - it's taken quickly and Gotze almost is thrown into space in the box but it goes out for a goal-kick.

Just a slight lull in the game at the moment.

Real still to open up this Dortmund defence, pass selection has been poor and too many passes has gone astray.

Higuain plays a poor ball into Ronaldo from the left, lofted over everyone and out for a goal-kick.

Jose must be wondering just how fit Di Maria is after he was up late for the birth of his child. Could make a change at half-time.

Dortmund seemed to have settled again after 10 minutes of improved play by Real.

Brilliant run by Blaszczykowski, cutting in from the right wing. It's Higuain who tracks him and makes a superb tackle just as the Poland captain was about to shoot - and he won the goal-kick too.

<em>Opta Stat: </em>Real Madrid have conceded their fastest goal in the Champions League since 2008 (Del Piero for Juventus in 2008 5 min).

Real Madrid really growing into the game, starting to look much more threatening.

Coentrão is bundled over again just outside the box on the left, a third free-kick from Alonso from a similar position - this time Weidenfeller punches away.

Alonso takes from out wide in the deep, there's too much on it and though Ronaldo and Weidenfeller end up in a tangle the ball is always going out for a goal-kick.

Now Coentrão is blocked off by Reus, the free-kicks are mounting up.

Alonso plays a decent curling free-kick in towards Ronaldo in the centre of the box, it's headed away by a defender.

Ronaldo is sent to the deck again, over on the left flank by Piszczek

Foolish shot from Khedira just inside the area on the left which is blocked. He was never going to score there.

Desperate defending in the Real Madrid defence after a determined run by Reus, it eventually results in a shot from Gündogan which rises well over.

Ronaldo does go for the shot and Weidenfeller has to play safety first and fist a dipping shot away to his left.

And seconds later Bender fells Ronaldo again. The Portuguese could hit this from 35 yards out.

Cristiano Roanldo gets a free-kick for a foul by Bender after being turned down several times.

Nearly a quarter of a way through this first-leg tie and Real Madrid have offered nothing.

Earlier ball into the box from Ronaldo is easily dealt with by the Dortmund defence.

Schmelzer is penalised for a tug on Ramos' shirt.

<em>Opta stat:</em> Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic (7) has made more assists than Mario Götze in the Champions League this season.

Nothing is coming off for Ronaldo, he needs to step up.

Gündogan is left on the deck by a high challenge from Khedira, clear free-kick in midfield.

Real really struggling to get into any kind of rhythm.

Tackle from behind by Reus on Modric. He's very lucky not to give away the free-kick on the edge of the box.

Offside against Higuain, coming back to receive the ball on the edge of the box.

The Dortmund free-kick never really comes off, but Real defenders looked panicked. Dortmund could really press home the early advantage.

Lewandowski is blocked off by Ramos, Dortmund with the chance to put the ball into the box.

So a great start for Dortmund, and it could already be 2-0. Real rocked.

Gotze pick sup the ball on the left flank, cuts back on his right and picks out Lewandowski with a wonderful ball - the Pole loses Pepe at the back post and pokes the ball home.

<img src="http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/gp10/i/goal.gif"> <b>GOAL - ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI</b>

...and Lopez manages to throw out his right arm and keep out the shot. It's running for Lewandowski but the angle proves too tight for the follow up.

Brilliant run from Reus, cutting across the defence on the angle and trying to arrow a shot across the keeper into the area....

Alonso plays a short ball into Modric on the edge of the box, space is tight for a shot but the Croat still tries his luck - and misses the ball.

Khedira leans in on Gündogan and that's a free-kick to Dortmund.

<em>Opta stat:</em> Mesut Ozil was directly involved in all three of Real Madrid?s goals against Dormund this season (one goal, two assists).

The two teams trade periods of possession in the opening minutes.

Dortmund giving Real's players no time on the ball right from the off.

And Real kick off.

A great atmosphere in Dortmund's famous stadium, flags waving and fans bouncing. The home crowd is well up for this. But then they are for all games.

Jose Mourinho has never taken a team to Germany and won - in fact he has lost all five games. He knows that if he does that today they will have one foot in the final.

Luka Modric starts with Di Maria only able to take a place on the bench.

Mario Gotze starts behind Lewandoski despite his move to Bayern Munich being confirmed.
