Sevilla against Arsenal

PENALTY!

Rosicky wins a throw deep in the Sevilla half. But it comes to nothing.

28 games unbeaten for Arsenal... It looks like it's going to end.

Sevilla hanging on. The corner comes in, off a Sevilla player and behind. But a goal kick is given!

Oh dear. Rangers hearts are broken as Stuttgart score again!

Arsenal committing a lot of men forward now, and looking shaky at the back. It's four on four everytime and Walcott is on the run.

Wenger is apparently refusing to leave the touchline. He's been sent off, but is standing his ground.

Good pass from Eduardo and Walcott wins the corner. Denilson hits the ball far too long. Terrible.

Wenger appears to have been sent to the stands, but is just standing a few yards behind. Now he's being told to leave.

Lyon have pegged Barca back, so it's as you were with that group.

Navas shows some great skill again, he's been a thorn in the side of Arsenal. Alves is down injured and he looks badly hurt. Denilson seems to go in studs up again.

Walcott now comes on for Eboue.

Almunia punches when he could have caught the ball, Alves lashes the rebound back but it's well wide.

Senderos has just picked the ball up for no reason at all. The foul is given and Poulsen gets the flick on, but it goes wide.

Fabiano, who has been impressive, is off. Senderos will breathe a sigh of relief.

Wenger has used two of his subs already, Rosicky and Sagna, but he could use Walcott?! Traore has looked out of his depth as well, so Wenger may regret leaving Clichy at home.

Arsenal haven't mustered a shot on target this half. Palop has had nothing to do and that is very unusual for Wenger's men.

Apart from his goal, Eduardo has been awful.

Eduardo AGAIN with a terrible pass! He lets the ball fly off his boot and misses his intended target.

Rangers back to 2-2 with a strike from Barry Ferguson.

Poulsen and Eboue squaring up, and Bendtner has his own point to make. He's done well to get the header down, but there's no-one there.

No-one closing Kanoute down. He gets a shot off after some great dribbling from Jesus Navas. Senderos has looked off his game tonight and now the Gunners are getting involved in scrappy incidents.

United have now made it 1-1. And they'll be talking about that moment for quite a while.

No idea what has happened there. It was hard to tell if it was actually a penalty, but the ref seems to have over-ruled his own decision.

And it's no penalty! The ref seems to have changed his mind and has given Arsenal a drop ball.

Confusion reigns. Senderos went for the ball with his chest. The linesman is there as well.

PENALTY! Or is it?

Drago has the shot with his left foot, but it is blocked by the plethora of people in between the goal and the ball.

Crespo coming off, mask and all. Mosquera on for him.

Alves has so much space he might as well buy a house down the right flank. No-one is near him! Denilson brings down Fabiano and Sevilla now have a great chance from the free-kick.

Now the Gunners are playing long ball tactics.. with no-one on the end of the long ball.

Poulsen with a smashing pass, but Fabiano couldn't control it. A good touch there and it was 3-1. Now Navas bursts past Traore, it's the right wing where Sevilla are having all their success and Arsenal haven't mustered an attack so far.

Eduardo in no man's lands and Alves has the run of the right wing. Gilberto is coming across to cover and leaving his own man. Where is the Croatian???

Lucky break nearly sees Bendtner in. He deserves a goal, but the ball just doesn't fall kindly for him.

Fabiano bowls over Senderos, which is no mean feat. But Arsenal are still lacking something up front. Good news for Rangers as Barca are now 2-1 up.

Fabregas given a standing ovation as he leaves the pitch. Hopefully for the Gunners that won't be too serious.

Fabregas coming off now for Rosicky.

Alves jumps in to rob the Croat again. Keita's shot his Senderos, who has developed a nasty habit of holding his hands behind his back whenever he goes to block the ball.

Even the 17 year old Traore has confidence and touch on the ball. Eduardo took his man on, but his final ball was poor.

Eduardo again with an absolutely awful touch. That is not like an Arsenal player and he looks out of his depth.

Fabregas seems to want to come off. Rosicky is readying himself.

Fabregas with the ball in, but no-one was there to get on the end of it. The Gunners are missing something, and nothing much has changed since the start of the half.

Crespo again fouling Eboue. Hoyte looks to have made it through, but Drago does very well. The ball comes in again and Alves fouls Eduardo.

Denilson flies in with two feet off the ground. Navas takes the brunt of it and the young Brazilian is very lucky there to stay on the pitch. Just picking up a booking.

Eboue great skill there. He goes down under a challenge, but no pen.

The Croatian striker needs to start tracking back, or they'll be trouble. He's now attacking, but can't do much better there and Alves robs him of the ball.

Arsenal's defence splits again. Senderos has to come across to cover as Traore and Eduardo can't seem to control their players.

Drago seems to have picked up a knock already. Corner to Arsenal, well punched away by Palop. Incredible amount of pushing in the box there.

Arsenal kick off the second half. And things need to improve.

Half time

Sevilla equalised, but Arsenal did nothing after that. Denilson has shown good touches, but typically no cutting edge. Half time whistle blows.

Just one added minute.

Traore does well down the left now, sending the ball over as Eduardo tries to chest it down. Not given any space though and Sevilla clear. Great break, Keita and Alves combine and Almunia makes the save. End to end stuff!

Bit of a fight on the pitch now as Adriano slides in on Hoyte. Hoyte skips over the challenge and then rakes his foot down the Brazilian's back. Lucky to get away with that. Stupid from the youngster.

They haven't picked up possession at all. Half-time can't come soon enough.

Senderos beaten in the air by Kanoute who has had the beating of the Swiss defender. Fabiano is put through down the right of the box and Almunia beats it away. Kanoute wastes the rebound, and Arsenal looking vulnerable now.

Arsenal looks a bit shell-shocked really. Crespo and Eboue have been going at it all night, the Ivorian has not done himself any favours.

Traore with a dreadful cross. Ends up going out as a goal-kick.

Eboue is fouled again after breaking free, he really needs to calm down though as his attitude is not helping his team.

Great ball from Denilson. Eboue down the right, sends it back across and he slides it to Bendtner. He tricks his way into the box, Palop comes out, the ball is passed back to Denilson again who shoots... and a great save (while on the floor) from Palop.

Eduardo gives the ball away again! His touch has been poor for everything apart from the goal.

Sevilla have looked good for the lead. Arsenal have slipped off and with Eboue breaking up the play with his tantrums, the Spaniards have taken control.

Toure was miles away from him there. Couldn't get close to it, and Almunia failed to get anywhere near the header.

GOAL! And from the free-kick, Fabiano gets there and heads them in front.

Great skill from Jesus Navas. Fools Traore there and wins the foul.

Eboue again getting involved when he had no reason to. He thought he should have had the foul, and then stormed around like a petulant 2 year old when he didn't get his way! He was lucky not to get booked after that tackle.

One of the best tackles you will ever see! Gilberto gives it away and Toure amazingly recovers to stop Fabiano from getting the shot off. He looked odds on to score!

Sevilla are in ascendency now. They're attacking a lot more and Arsenal aren't quite able to keep hold of the ball.

Gilberto looks as if he's never been away, great stuff from the Brazilian skipper. He might be on his way in January, but he's still class.

And now Rangers are up 1-0! What a result that would be!

United down 1-0 against Sporting Lisbon, not that it matters to them as they're already through.

Senderos has been out for a while, and it showed there with some sloppy play. You only need to give the likes of Keita one chance, and he took it really well.

Should liven things up a bit after conceding their first goal of the campaign. Traore down injured after falling awkwardly.

GOAL! Few chances maybe, but two goals now! Keita takes advantage of a Senderos error. The dopey defender lost possession and Keita swerved a great shot round the keeper after a block from Gilberto.

Justin Hoyte smashed into the boards there by the Serbian. Good ball through by Eboue, but Hoyte wasn't quite quick enough. This is a game of few chances so far..

Eboue sent flying by the man in the mask, young Crespo. He makes a meal of it again but was probably deserved. Free-kick comes in, but comes to nothing again.

Eboue does his usual play acting, writhing around on the floor claiming he got hit on the head.

Almunia gets his hands on the ball for the first time, Fabregas loses the ball, but it's all got a bit scrappy now. Arsenal losing possession and Sevilla not able to keep hold of it long enough to do anything.

Fabiano goes down under a challenge from Senderos, he wanted a penalty, but nothing doing.

Sevilla have looked tentative, but good signs for the Gunners. Their attacking football will get results here if they keep plugging away.

Nothing much happening here. Eboue breaking down the right, but he wastes it and Alves heads off on the charge. Terrible ball though.

If Arsenal can hold onto this now, they'll top the group.

GOAL! And they do look good! Eduardo brings the ball down brilliantly and keeps his composure to slot home. Great cross from Bendtner and Eduardo does really well to put it away.

Away from home though, the Gunners look like the better side.

Bendtner could have done better there as well, the lone striker has not been in good touch so far. Arsenal need to push more players forward to help him out.

Eboue looking good down the right, Hoyte gets possession and tidies up a loose pass.

Lyon have now equalised against Barca. Juninho with the strike. Neither side have looked like breaking the deadlock here. But now Arsenal are stringing some passes together which is always dangerous.

Eboue should really have run into the space down the right, but he crosses early and Bendtner couldn't get near it. Poor play again, the striker should have been charging through to try and get that.

Eduardo gives the ball away after a careless pass from the defender. Terrible play from the Croat. Bendtner could have been in there if he'd played the ball through properly.

First chance for the 13 goal Kanoute. Senderos doesn't close the former Spurs man down, and he smashes a shot well over.

Traore barrels into Navas. The young Frenchman has impressed when given the chance. Ashley Cole hasn't been missed.

Barca up already against Lyon, good news for Rangers and fans watching our other gamecast tonight.

Crespo, no not the one who played for Chelsea, fouls Hoyte and nearly takes his head off with an aerial tackle.

Bendtner up front on his own, will need some support from the likes of Fabregas and Eboue. Sevilla playing it around well and Navas nearly makes it down the right.

Fabiano run off the ball by Denilson early on. It looks like a 4-5-1 with Eduardo playing down the left.

Sevilla needing to turn their form around to get a result here. They've not played well of late, while Arsenal have been cruising in the Premier League.

Kick off

Almunia starts again, having not conceded a goal this competition. But Kanoute and Fabiano are in great form and could break the deadlock.

The Gunners can top the group if they beat Sevilla, who lost at the weekend. Although the Spaniards will be no easy task to overcome. They may already be through, but Arsenal need to be on top form again.

Young line up for Arsenal tonight, including the likes of: Justin Hoyte, Traore, Denilson, Eduardo and Bendtner.

Arsenal haven't mustered a shot on target this half. Palop has had nothing to do and that is very unusual for Wenger's men.

Apart from his goal, Eduardo has been awful.
