- 83'
Real are keeping the ball well, just what they need to do.
- 82'
Debatable offside against Morientes. He hasn't had a look in yet.
- 81'

What a save from Casillas, again - Kleber fires one in but the keeper is equal to it at point blank range. Corner to Dynamo.
- 75'
Belkevich on for Rincorn - will it make any difference as Kiev press for a point?
- 74'
Raul curls one over from 18 yards - he has been influential tonight without having supllied any decent final product.
- 73'
Solari is having a blinder on the left, he keeps beating his man. Oops, just as I say that he goes and gives tha ball away needlessly.
- 72'
Solari whips an awesome ball across the face of goal. Raul lifts it over from 2 yards out. Under pressure, it was still a horrible miss by the skipper.
- 70'
Corner to Dynamo, Gavrancic loops a header over the top.
- 70'
Raul falls over the ball after a neat trick on the edge of the box. Real have lost their attacking edge - Zidane is having to do a lot of tracking back.
- 68'
Solari can't pick out a man with his cross. Real are in for a tense closing twenty minutes. Cernat has come on and is looking hungry for goals.
- 67'
Owen has had a quiet evening but has grabbed that all important goal. There's 25 minutes left - will he grab the headlines as well?

- 65'
Raul misses the ball when a yard out - but nevertheless he was offside and it wouldn't have counted.
- 64'
It's another corner. Owen was lurking just by that Raul cross.

- 48'
Raul can't bring the ball down at the crucial moment as Solari flicks it to him.
- 46'
Diogo Rincon bursts through, into the box and goes down. Surely he didn't dive, but that's the decision given, No booking either? What a strange decision. He should have scored, but miscontrolled.
- 46'
Roberto Carlos is spared by the linesman as he awards a foul against the brazialian instead of a corner.
- 45'
The teams are on the pitch, what will the second half hold?
- 45'
At times, Real have looked very classy in attack, but they have (predictably) had some pretty dodgy moments in defence as well. This game is far from over - with the counter-attacking unit that Kiev possess, Real will need a seond goal and a sound defensive show in the second half to see this one out. Well done to Michael Owen on getting his first goal in Madrid colours.

It's half time in Madrid, with the hosts taking a one goal lead into the break. Owen has got the all-important goal.

Zidane makes a good interception in the box, but it's a corner for Kiev. Crucial for Real to see this one away.
- 44'
Zidane's tackle is untidy in the middle of the park - Owen gave the ball away just before. Another long ange effort from Rodolfo hits the wall.

Ronaldo and Owen both move into the same area when looking for the final ball from Raul, and the danger is easily mopped up. They haven't got much of an understanding yet.
- 28'
Ronaldo is needlessly offside when picking up Zidane's pass. Solari will take up a position on the left, with Raul moving to the right. Not a bad substitute to have really!
- 28'
A swift break from Kiev results in Shatskikh pulling his shot inches wide. What a chance to take a shock lead! Figo is coming off for Solari.
